Welcome to Cardiff Yoga Studio - a new approach to teaching during the Coronavirus pandemic
I hope that you and your friends and family are all keeping well.
Doing yoga at this time can be really helpful in all sorts of ways, it helps keep both mind and body healthy and robust. It also provides some continuity for our days, and, just as importantly, a sense of connection and community.
Whether we are out in the world working to keep the health service and country running, or staying at home, the situation has both its rewards and challenges, and practicing yoga can make a valuable contribution to the well being of both ourselves, and others.
As a teacher, I was initially wary of teaching on-line, but both myself and students have found the classes both welcome and rewarding.
My hope is that when we emerge from our present crisis, the inevitable changes we will all have to make to our lives will be positive, and lead to a healthier and more sustainable way of living, for ourselves and the world.
To this end ,some of the teachers at the studio are offering on-line classes. For details, just visit the timetable page.
In the meantime I wish you safe and well, and happy practicing!
